The Gupta and Florexil Siblings: Architects of an Inclusive Future

Message from our founders

It comes naturally to us, as we were raised and surrounded by relatives who contributed to society. As the Gupta siblings, our journey encompasses AI, healthcare, manufacturing, fintech, education, and land degradation. However, our commitment to societal betterment is not limited to any one field. Our goal is to address cross-disciplinary, high-impact societal issues through computing. We are guided by core values of service, unity, and generosity and are focused on crafting technology for the greater good.

And for us the Florexil siblings, our upbringing was shaped by our grandmother, a single mother who raised seven children while selflessly contributing to her community. Despite people assuming she was wealthy due to her giving nature and dedication to serving others, the truth was she had the least. Her legacy embodies values of service, unity, and generosity. Our parents continued this legacy by establishing homes, schools, and essential infrastructure for first responders, ensuring access to basic human necessities like clean water, food, and quality healthcare. We have spent our lifetime serving our community across education, healthcare, construction, accessibility, technology, energy, entrepreneurship, architectural and interior design, and beyond; whatever career path we pursue, we always strive to ensure our work has a positive impact. This drive has been our constant motivation.

Our entrepreneurial spirit also comes naturally to us; we always aim to challenge ourselves to achieve great things. We are doers—when we see problems that can be solved, we strive to address them. Over the years, during our careers and entrepreneurial journey, we have observed and encountered many things left on the sidelines. One of the most critical issues is accessibility. While it is a part of the world, society has not fully integrated it into the norm. Our goal is to challenge that. As we age, travel, and live, we encounter the need for accessibility in daily living. We have witnessed many valuable and highly needed innovations being overlooked due to lack of funding. We have seen individuals excluded from their community due to a lack of accessibility awareness and innovation.

If you look around, there is technology every day influenced by accessibility—AI assistants like Siri and Alexa, self-driving cars, television captions, and voice recognition, just to name a few. Our digital world innovation is advancing at a rapid pace, but it doesn't exist in isolation from the physical world, this life we only live it once. Too often, we live this life without experiencing the living life. While we still live in a physical world, accessibility in that realm still has a long way to go. We want to ensure that our physical world community is accessible to all. We want to ensure that people can enjoy the physical world without barriers. It saddens us to know that as people age, they may struggle to enjoy the physical world due to a lack of accessibility. As our bodies change every day, we want to ensure that our world is equipped to accommodate those changes. The AIF is dedicated to constructing a future where accessibility is seamless—not just for today or tomorrow, but for generations to come. Everyone deserves equal and easy access to participate in physical activities in cities, whether it's attending a football game, a theater performance, a festival, a museum, a boat trip, an airport visit, a polo match, a day at the beach, a hospital visit, or an amusement park—because we are all part of the living community.
